Hola! Couple days in Santiago R&R - then off to Finisterre today - by bus!! No longer pilgrims - just tourists now. Nice sunny day and we got to "The end of the world" about midday. Walked out to the lighthouse 2.2k, and that was it. Nice fishing village, Finisterre, now over run by tourists and peregrinos. Apparently this was the end point of an old pagan pilgrimage that preceded the Camino de Santiago - as usual the church just plagiarised a good pagan idea and made it their own. We've lazed around the rest of the day with new friends made on the Camino - they say "if you don't have a family then the Camino will give you one". 8.45 now so time for bed- still incredibly bone weary after the walk - guess we didn't realise how much energy the walk was taking out of us.
