Hola. ¿Como estan? Day 5, 10k walk + city walk round old Pamplona. Easy day except for all the walking was on asphalt. Body is OK -sort of - woke up and my feet were feeling a bit better. Hooray! Then the asphalt took care of that! The 10k was monotonous suburbia, Pamplona old city very cool - huge old fortified walls still in place, old cobbled streets including Estafado that The bulls Run down during The Fiesta de San Firmin in July We took in The Plaza de Toros bullring and the statue of Hemingway outside. The catedral here is pretty spectacular (see pic of one little side chapel) and shows how much people are prepared to pay to get into heaven. Then it started raining y mucho frío so time to hit The road, find an albergue and wash The clothes. Hasta mañana.

Raewyn Hi Jeff and Sal. I find you have already become my breakfast reading. Having started in Pamplona I really look forward to seeing the road through your eyes. It is amazing how quickly we become aware and fascinated by the workings and weaknesses of our body. Isn't it something to be celebrated that our bodies work well enough to let us do it. Hasty luego. Raewyn Rp.
Jude and Allen Enjoying your blog, expecting photos of you soon with haloes visible. Hope you don't get held up at gunpoint as we were near the end of the Franco era; it's a different country now, great to travel in. Looking forward to the next episode in the Purification of Jeff and Sal.
Jenny Help, I looked and you had not written!! That's the trouble with staring out - a blog a day - now I'm expecting to hear from you every day. Hope you are both well - love Jenxx

jeffandsal Hi Jude & Allen - nice to know you appreciate a bit of good Catolico purification. They have still got a lot work to go with this boy!
jeffandsal Hi Raewyn - yep we are seeing the same names you introduced to us. The body seems to be coming right despite the thrashing it gets daily. No blisters so far - just tendonitis R foot and L ankle.
