Buenos - day 10, walked 22k, 599k to go. Walked from Viana, left the province of Navarre behind, into La Rioja province to the city of Logroño (bustling university town & capital of La Rioja). We had a nice lunch in Logroño - Sal with her usual mixed salad and me with the cheese and bacon bocadillo. Weather in the morning clear and cold, especially the west wind which cut right through you. In the afternoon warmed up so had to get down to shorts and T shirt (1st time). Body OK but feet feel it by the time 20k completed. Very fancy church Navarrete - heaps of gold on a 17th century altar ( we are getting used to this OTT church decoration). Gem of the day - we saw our 1st stork on it's wood sticknest on top of a power pole - see pic. Hasta pronto!!

Angus C Macdonald Hi Jeff & Sal, keep it up. Sounds like a great time, hope feet stay together! Cheers, Angus.
jeffandsal Thanks Angus - did I tell you about the pain? This Camino includes a bit of suffering! Part of the deal if you want remission of all your sins. But overall the walk is pretty cool and well worth the effort. How is the training going?
jeffandsal Thanks Jen - storks are my kind of bird - saw a 2nd nest & bird today!
