¡Hola! Day 20- 23k walked - dead flat country - the meseta ( see pic). Gem of today was the church at Fromista - a National Heritage site - good example of early romanesque architecture, simple clean, with the focus on the purity of best of the Christian message - together with the Patrón Saint of Pilgrims - Santiago himself. I'm getting to like this guy. We had a nice homecooked meal tonight - with an NZ girl (Claire from Mt Manganui) as the cook. Was great - plenty of vege, greens, chick peas and flan and vino tinto to wash it all down. Staying at a very Nice albergue - Espíritu Santo - run by the Hijas de Caridad - The Daughters of Charity. Looks like an old hospital. On and on tomorrow - we will maybe crack the half-way mark. Adiós
