Got going at 8:30am, walked through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park to Knightsbridge to visit Harrods....it was closed!
Caught the tube back to Lancaster Gate then relaxed at hotel until 11:30am. Met Shell's brother, Mark, at 11:30 in front of Lancaster Gate tube station for his guided tour of London to see the sights we had missed over the last 4 days.
Started by walking to Marble Arch via Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park. Not much happening there, mainly religious rantings. Walked to Marble Arch tube station and caught tube to Bond Street.
Walked to Regent Street and had lunch in the park. Walked along Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus then on to Leicester Square. Walked down to Trafalgar Square to see the tiny bit of the square that wasn't covered with pigeons. Had a brief look inside the National Gallery before walking down to Houses of Parliament so Mark could take some photos.
We then caught one of Londons double-decker buses for all of 100 metres, then walked past Downing Street and on to Covent Garden. Nothing much to see besides a crowded market and some buskers. Had a coffee before catching the tube from Covent Garden to St.Pauls to see St.Paul's Cathedral.
Said goodbye to Mark and had a quick look around the cathedral before catching the tube back to Lancaster Gate to relax and watch the soccer on TV. Went to dinner at 6pm eating at a chinese restaurant in Queensway.
