Arrived in Cesky Krumlov after a two and a half hour bus trip from Prague. Began our walking tour of the old town by walking under the Most Na Plasti and walking across the bridge over the Vltava River. Woke up at 6am and had breakfast then checked out and walked to Namestie Republicky metro station and caught metro to Holesovice Station. Caught 8.34am train to Berlin.

Arrived in Karlstejn on the "City Elephant" train at 1.20pm and walked 2km to the Karlstejn Castle. Went on the 2.30pm English tour of the castle which took about an hour. No photography allowed inside the castle. Took in the views over the town before walking back to the train station and catching the train back to Prague.

Got up at 7am and had breakfast before catching the metro to Staromestska station and walking to the Jewish Quarter. Toured the "open air museum" that was the Jewish Quarter visiting Pinkasova Synagogue and Old Jewish Cemetry before walking on to the Old-New Synagogue, Maisel Synagogue and Spanish synagogue.Caught the metro back to the hotel to get our day pack and have lunch at the nearby sandwich shop before walking to the main train station to catch the slow t...
