Woke up at 6am and, after breakfast, checked out of the hotel took a car transfer from the hotel to the main train station. Reserved seats on the train to Prague and converted our Slovakian money to Czech money before catching our train on to Prague.

Got up at 8am and and had breakfast before walking past the Grassalkovich Palace down to the main bus station where we caught the bus to Devin.Walked form the bus stop to the castle and wandered the ruins including a climb to the top of the tower with the views across the Danube River into Austria. Got up at 8am and after breakfast walked down to Obchodna and caught a tram up to the main train station. Caught the 9.30am train to Trencin.Arrived in Trencin from Bratislava at 11.30am after a slow train trip. Arrived at Bratislava hl.st train station at noon from Budapest and walked 800m to our hotel, Crowne Plaza Bratislava.Walked down Obchodna and got some lunch before walking down to the Tourist Information Centre for a city map and to check out some day trips from Bratislava. Left Vienna and after a 1 hour 20 minute train trip which included a passport check at Bratislava-Petrzalka station we arrived in Bratislava. Got out at Bratislava-Hl.St. Station and went in search of a toilet. No luck as they were pay toilets and the angry man in the booth didn't want to accept Euros as we had no chance to get some Slovakian money.
