We arrived in Cambridge at 10:30am from London and caught a bus from the train station into the city centre. We walked to the Tourist Information Centre and bought a city map the walked through the market square to Great St.Mary's Church. 

We climbed to the top of the tower with a guide who told us all about the bells, universities and the history of the city which was very interesting. We also had some nice views of Cambridge from the top of the tower.

We walked back to the market square in search of lunch. After lunch we walked across to Kings College and the chapel. We then walked on to Trinity College and then down to the River Cam to watch some of the students punting.

We walked on past St.John's College towards the Castle Mound. We then started walking back to the market square passing the Round Church on the way. Caught the bus back to the train station and caught the 3.15pm train back to London.
