Arrived in Amsterdam and passed through EU customs then went to the KLM lounge for some food and drink before boarding our flight on to Kuala Lumpur. Flight left on time.

Flight arrived in Amsterdam on time. We spent an hour or so in the lounge then went to depature gate. The flight was delayed slightly and we had to take a bus out to plane on tarmac in the rain. Business class in plane appeared no different to economy except maybe the food but the flight was a little over an hour so it didn't matter too much! We were on our way to Copenhagen and only had one more flight to go.

After breakfast we finished packing and checked out of the hotel at 8am. We got picked up in our private car (very impressive!!) and were taken to Schipol for our flight to London having a good chat with the driver on the way.We arrived at the airport at 9.15am and checked in for our flight shortly afterwards before taking a walk around the terminal and having a coffee. We boarded our plane at 11am and then departed for London after some delays.

We arrived at Rotterdam Centraal station at 11am from Amsterdam and went to the train information booth to find out where tourist information was. Walked out of the station to the Tourist Information Centre and found out which trains and buses we needed to catch to get to Kinderdijk and what tickets we needed. We then went to get our 15-strippenkarte but needed coins so returned to the train information booth and were told we could buy the tickets at a ticket off...

After breakfast we walked to the train station and bought some supplies from the supermarket, picked up our day packs from the hotel and started on a walking tour of the city.The tour started at Zeedijk and the only wooden fronted house in Amsterdam outside the Begijnhof.
