Up early, had breakfast, then checkd out and caught our airport transfer to Ljubljana Airport. After some problems with carrying liquids onto the flight and some delays as a deportee was being escorted onto the plane, we departed on our flight to Budapest in a 33 seater plane!

Got up early and went down to Copova after breakfast to get some money before walking to the bus station to buy our tickets to Bled. After initially getting on the wrong bus we found the right one and left at 10am.We arrived in Bled from Ljubljana at 11.20am and walked down to Lake Bled with views of the church on the island in the middle of the lake. Had a sleep in, ate breakfast and then set off on a walking tour of Ljubljana. We walked down Slovenska and then down Copova to Presernov Square and the Franciscan Church. We then crossed the Ljubljanica River over the Triple Bridge and walked along the collonade past the market to the Dragon Bridge before walking back along the river to the Cathedral of St.Nicholas and on to Mestni Square and the Robba Fountain and the Town Hall. Arrived by train at main train station and walked in the rain to our hotel, Hotel Lev. We checked in and then walked down to the main shopping area for lunch before visting the Tourist Information Centre to get a city map and some information on bus timetables to Bled. We returned to the hotel before heading out again for dinner, eating at a pizzeria near Copova.
