Breakfast at 9am and checked out at 9.50am. Walked to the train station and boarded our train to Rosenheim in Germany where we would switch trains to Venice. Train left on time and we were on our way to Venice.

Breakfast at 8.15am then packed our bags and waited in the hotel foyer to be picked up for the Sound of Music Tour. We got picked up at 9.20am and were driven in a minibus 500m to Mirabellplatz to board our coach for the tour. We got good seats and the tour departed at 9.40am. Left Vienna at 10.20am and passed through some scenic country including snow-capped mountains as we entered Salzburg at 1.50pm. We walked out of the station on our way to our hotel when an old lady approached asking if we spoke English. We told her we did and she asked if we were looking for a hostel. Breakfast at 8.30am, checked out, then caught the metro tto Westbahnhof station to catch our train to Salzburg. The train departed at 10.20am and we were on our way!

Breakfast at 8am then walked to metro station stopping along the way to take a picture of the Votivkirche. Caught metro to Rathaus station to see the Town Hall. Took a few photos despite a circus set up right in front of the town hall getting in the way of a good photo.
