Got up at 7am and had breakfast at the hotel then got picked up for the Golden Circle tour at 8.30am. Our first stop was Hveragerði greenhouse village which wasn't very exciting, it was a town with lots of greenhouses gorwing vegetables and flowers as you'd expect. The next stop was the volcanic crater, Kerið, with a frozen lake at the bottom. You could walk around the crater if you had the time but with the tour you didn't and the ground was icy so...

We arrived at the airport and lined up to check in when a lady from the airport told us we could check in using the automated kiosk even though we had a paper ticket.
