We had a great couple of weeks here in Dunsborough. We hired a car for the two weeks. A Hyundai Tucson. We stopped in Norseman for some supplies and petrol. Norse was a town like many we've seen on our travels where they main street has lots of shops and most of them are closed. The guy at the petrol station was very friendly giving us information on where to check cheap petrol along the Nullabor. We had seen on our map Parmango Rd, which went from Condingup, about 65km east of Esperance, up to Balladonia on the Nullabor. The tourist information centre in Esperance initially had this road closed due to the wet weather but by the time we'd left town it was open again to 4WDs only but not if they are towing. On arriving at Le Grand Beach campground in Cape Le Grand National Park (60kms east of Esperance) we met up with the campground hosts, Margaret and Greg who were also our hosts at Cape Range National Park off the Ningaloo Reef. Whilst in Esperance, David went off on his motorbike a couple of times. He killed another tyre tube so we had to get that repaired. We did the scenic drive just out of town which shows a lovely coastline and gorgeous blue water - when it's not raining! We took up a tourist membership at the local Blockbuster Video and watched a few dvds. Kylie
