Drove here via Byron Bay. The traffic into Byron Bay was incredible it was banked up for about a km. Lucky for us the traffic jam was in the opposite direction. Evans Heads was similar to Yamba except smaller and looked like a great town but we decided to push onto Lennox Head which had been recommended to us. Got there late in the day to setup camp and had a quick walk around town. Moved on the next day.

Packed up and left early the next morning to avoid paying the camp ranger. Had the rare treat of breakfast at a cafe in Maclean. Before setting up the camper in Yamba we went for a swim in an ocean pool. It was great fun with the waves breaking on the side of the pool before flooding it with seawater. Not many other campers around but plenty of kangaroos. They were hanging around just metres from our camper.We had planned to go for a long walk along the beach the next morning but we met a fellow camper who had some expensive eskies stolen during the day. So instead we decided to move on early in the morning. Kylie got a bit scared that night when we saw a car driving around the campsite. I think they were only collecting firewood.
