We drove through Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun before setting up camp at Starvation Boat Harbour, 50km east Hopetoun. David took the motorbike off here to go for a ride but was a bit restricted as he did not have much petrol left.

Would you believe whilst here the couple that helped us out when we got stuck in the sand at Francois Peron National Park turned up!

After a wet & windy night we packed up in the rain an headed to Esperance. Travelling along a dirt road out of the area, only about 1km from where the dirt turned to bitumen, David lost control of the car and we ended up in the mud on the side of the road. David got out let out some air from the tyres and dug around them and we were able to reverse out. Neither us or the car were hurt.
