David & Kylie's Drought Breaking Tour
We took the long way to Mullewa via Woolen Station in the hope of seeing some spectacular wild flowers. We saw no better than we had been seeing driving from Mt Augustus to Murchison.
We arrived in Mullewa just in time for lunch. We had heard good things about Mullewa, however we were a bit disappointed when we arrived. There were a lot of shops in the main street that were empty. The town itself seemed pretty empty.
After lunch we went to the lookout before hitting the scenic route to Coalseam Conservation Park. By scenic, I mean paddocks and roadsides full of wild flowers.
Coalseam was the same. We stayed the night in the campground. We went for a walk before dinner and we were up and out of there early the next morning.
