Since our return to Adelaide we've watched a lot of cricket, read books, been to the movies (well I have anyway with my nieces) and David has played golf. David celebrated his 41st birthday here on the 7th. It was pretty quiet. His father, Tony celebrated his 70th birthday on the 12th. Heading from the Warrow North camp area to Port Lincoln we did a drive through, in the rain, of Coffin Bay. In Port Lincoln we just went for a drive trying to work out what we'd do for that day and the few following. We thought we'd head to Tumby Bay and go from there. We arrived in Ceduna late morning on Thursday indicating our trip along the Nullabor was over. We had a walk around Ceduna before getting some petrol and hitting the road. We headed down Eyre Peninsula coast towards Port Lincoln. We stopped in Streaky Bay for a look. Tuesday morning we stopped for petrol in Eucla before we crossed the border into South Australia. We stopped at a scenic lookout just over the border and another one called Bunda Cliffs, where we stopped for lunch. The lookouts both offered such great views of the coastline. Amazing stuff. We spent two nights in Clare surrounded by wineries.We chose not to visit any however we did sample some local beer at the Sevenhills hotel.The area would be lovely if it were green - no drought breaking activities here, although we did have the thermals on one night. Unfortunately we didn't get to watch, only listen to, the Socceroos versus Qatar World Cup qualifier match as Foxtel is so expensive none of the local pubs have it available in their public bars....
