We left Perth and took the same route that Sean had taken to the town of Tammin. We had stopped along the way at a town called Bakers Hill. I said to David that there would have to be a good bakery in this town and I was kind of right. David said the pie he had was good but the pastie I had was pretty bland and the sausage roll we were to share wasn't too great either.
By the time we had arrived in Tammin, Sean had already finished for the day. They all stayed at the Tammin hotel so we all ended up having dinner there and watching the footy. Darn good tucker at that pub. The pub itself almost seemed like someone's lounge room, with wedding photos on the wall and a resident black and white cat called "Collingwood".
Sean went to bed early with the aim of setting off at 6.30 the next morning. We went and set up our camper at the roadhouse. Wasn't a bad spot except for the trucks pulling in all night and the trains going past on the other side of the road. Again a cold night.
