We got up early on Monday to see Sean, Annabelle, Mum and Bevo off. There is still 21 days to go for Sean's ride but we know he is going to make it no worries.

After they left we had a shower in their motel room before driving the 39kms to Kalgoorlie.

We went for a walk along the Kal (as the locals call it) main street, drove to the Superpit lookout and a wander along the Boulder main street. The Superpit is currently 3.5km long, 1.5km wide and 370 metres deep. It is huge and the trucks that do all the work in it look tiny in comparison. They are still digging so the pit will get bigger.

Whilst in Kalgoorlie, I got a pedicure. This was David's birthday present to me. Boy did my feet need it! I don't think the lady had seen so much dead skin before!
