We headed into Port Hedland on packing up at De Gray River. We had a look at the port area and the main street before heading on.

Lunch was out the front of the Whim Creek Hotel, about 100km west of Port Hedland. Whim Creek has an iron ore mine and a pub. We didn't stop for a drink just our lunch before continuing to Point Samson.

Our caravan park in Point Samson is right on the water. We went for a walk along the beach after setting up and then went for a quiet beer or three at the Sunset Tavern. There were a few drunk locals who provided great entertainment whilst there.
