We left Broome today but not before we had a mini Sunday session at the Roebuck Bay Hotel yesterday afternoon. I was the designated driver given my illness. It was good to listen to a band for a while before watching a Liverpool replay on Foxtel. We also caught the end of the Shinju Matsuri parade. This is Broome's annual festival celebrating the town's history.

The Olympics are now over. For us this is a good thing as we have been a bit stagnant the past couple of weeks. For Australia there was a lot of joy but also a lot of disappoint, most particularly the cycling team. We love Steve Hooker and Matt Mitchum's final dive was amazing. Look forward to London 2012.
