Today I got a tattoo!!!! I won't be able to post this until probably I get back... Which is good, as Kristina thinks I didn't get one and she'll be hopefully nicely surprised when she sees it!! It's on my inner ankle of my right foot, and it hurt SO MUCH getting it done!! Sometimes like a scratchy needle, sometimes like a painful prolonged needle p**** Not nice. Took about an hour to do, but went quite quickly!! Liam was there at the start, but then went to get his tattoo done half way through ish. His took about 2 hours, and it's on his inner bicep of his left arm. They cost so much less than in England!! And the place we went to is a proper certified place and they're super hygienic and all that jazz, so nothing to worry about!!
Web started the day by waking up at 7 for some reason, then got up at 8.30 to go to Gaia for breakfast and meet Michael to share a taxi up to DNC for the last time. We had a whole load of stuff to give them - clothes, toiletries, books etc. They were very pleased to receive them!! Liam helped by putting up the glow-in-the-dark stars in all the bedrooms, as the ceilings are very high and no child or staff could reach!!
It was quite emotional saying goodbye to them, the kids I lived 3 constant weeks with... But we did it, and got the taxi back down to Thamel at 12, then leaving at 12.30 to go to the Galpin's house for a final farewell lunch. We had lasagne then strawberries and icecream (pistachio almond fudge flavour!!!!). We stayed until 3ish, then said our goodbyes to them, and headed back to Thamel.
We then walked back to the place where Liam got his watch yesterday, and I bought myself a watch!! It's a beautiful silver one, with a pearl-white face. Liam also bought 2 more for his mum and friend. We walked back to the hotel, ate some food, drank some water, washed feet etc, then headed over to Mohan's Tattoo Inn. You've already read the tattoo story so I won't repeat it!! I think I was more nervous beforehand than during. I was just in pain during getting the tattoo done!!
We walked around a bit trying to decide where to eat, then decided on Fire And Ice Pizzeria!!!! I had a Pizza Verde (with green peppers on), and Liam had a Pizza Salame (with salami on, could you guess?!)
We then walked back to the hotel, showered and packed up the rest of our stuff, ready for a 5am start tomorrow!! Not going to be fun...
