Safely in Mumbai airport, my home for the next 10 hours... It would've been nice to go out and see the city of Mumbai, but it's currently 11.30pm and I don't think it's advised!! But there's a few shops and cafés so I'll be fine. I've got books, games, and Kriti here to keep me busy :)
First hour down, 11 hours til takeoff tomorrow at 10.40am to Kathmandu! It's all getting very real now!
The flight wasn't too bad in the end, didn't sleep last night so managed to get an hour or two sleep on the plane (a big achievement!!) AND I got my courage together - went to the toilet on the plane!! Something I only ever do in emergencies. Last time I used airplane toilets was 2 years ago, and it must've been 3 years before then.
I sat between Kriti (sat by the window) and an old Indian man (sat in the aisle). The films were really good!! Watched The Call, Mean Girls, and The Croods.
You'll never believe what they have in this airport... I was told it was a dirty smelly smokey hole, but it's got not only duty free, but Pizza Hut, subway, KFC, bars, whsmith, massage places and so much more!!
Just had a quick wander round to find a watch (mine has officially gone after countless times wearing it in the shower) and some food. They don't sell anything cheap (cheapest watch is like $60!!) but... Food is amazingly cheap!! At KFC you could buy at least 3 meals for the price of one KFC meal in England!! And pizza is so cheap too!! Too much unhealthy choice, might go for some noodles later on!

Scrap the healthy noodles, I went for a double cheese pizza!! And now feeling incredibly tired, craving proper sleep and a bed. Our flight details are up on the board though which is good!! Still ages to go :(

After dipping in and out of sleep for what seemed like years, turned out only to be a few hours. We moved to near the gate so we were ready... But we are going insane. The lights, piano music, smell, constant chatter, not enough sleep. I am never flying via Mumbai airport ever again!!
