Today the plan was to go to DNC. So I went to Gaia at about middayish to meet Michael, who I had texted yesterday to ask of I could share a taxi to DNC. I sat and drank a latte, and waited until 1pm, then rang Michael to see where he was. When he picked up, there was no hello, just "oh. Mary. Oh dear. I've completely forgotten you!!" Turns out he had gone earlier than planned, and gone to I think the spinal injury hospital, and then on to DNC after that. So instead, I organised to meet him tomorrow so I could hitch a lift there and back with him.
I ended up going for a wander for a little while, and found a place where they sold cheaper henna in packs, so I bought the girls at DNC another pack (12 tubes this time).
I then went back to the hotel room where I had a relaxed afternoon - talking to Liam, watched "Avatar", played games, read my book etc... Then I decided to treat myself for supper. I was STARVING!! I guess I must have forgot to eat earlier... I wandered over to New Orleans Cafe where I ordered a beef steak with mashed potato, and a Daiquiri. Yum. I sat in a corner of the cafe watching people as I waited for my food. The mash potato was amazing, the second best I've ever had. The best I've ever had is Liam's homemade mash. So creamy, potatoey, and buttery. YUM!!!!
After my meal, I went back to the hotel and had a shower. A much needed one!! Although I don't think I haven't not had a shower every day since I've had access to hot water!!
