Happiness Is The Road
Our gorgeous little camper van is being sold in a few days time so she needed a really good clean. After brekky we drove to the car wash and gave her a really good scrub. This is the first time that she has been properly cleaned since the journey started last October. Considering this and some of the dirt roads we have been on she wasn't that filthy. She did though look lovely and shiny and sparkling once soaped up and rinsed down. After this we did some food shopping and then returned to the caravan park for lunch and to clean the inside of our gorgeous home on wheels. It's incredible how many nasty mozzies we have had to smash with books against the campers ceiling and walls on our travels. Some of the splattered little nasties were still there and their residue had to be wiped away. Neither of us like cleaning but we wanted to leave our camper all clean and lovely. We scrubbed and polished until we could take no more for one day. Shattered after our cleaning exertions we sat around in the sun for the rest of the day and relaxed. We are both beginning to feel quite sad at the thought of saying goodbye to our little home. She has looked after us really well and we have become very attached to her. Parting is going to be tough.
