Happiness Is The Road
It was our last day in Perth for a while. We got up late and just lazed around until about 3 when we drove to Woolies at the Karrinyup Centre to stock up on food. After this we headed over to the Mitchell Freeway and drove down towards the city and up to Kings Park. When I was last in Perth back in October I spent my final night sat under the big tree in Kings Park watching the city light up in all it's incredible glory as the sun went down listening to music. I had to do the same tonight but this time with my beautiful Jay at my side. I had been really looking forward to being back here and for Jay to experience the view of the city which becomes even more spectacular at night. We parked up and went straight to the tree, the exact same beautiful tree as before. It had been awaiting my return with Jay and looked pleased to see us! We sat down, put our headphones on and enjoyed the show to a great musical soundtrack. We hugged and cuddled and watched the city slowly light up before us as darkness descended. It was really cold, about 5 degrees, but we were wrapped up warm and all the hugs kept us warm anyhow. There was even a full moon which just added to the magic. We sat under the tree happy as pigs in ****. We are just so happy to have found each other. We took loads of great photos of the city and of us messing about. We also got some great photos of orbs dancing in the air around us. This just added to the magic even more. It is good to know that the orbs are still with us. We have decided to come back up to Kings Park and do the same thing again on our last night in Australia when we are back in Perth in October. It should be a lot warmer by then. After Kings Park we drove over to South Perth where we got some more great photos of the city from across the wide expanse of the Swan River. The city looked incredible all shimmering and glittering in the water. After this and with the heater on full blast in the camper we drove round the river and through the city centre before heading back to the caravan park up the Mitchell Freeway. We had our tea and got an early night as we have a big drive ahead of us tomorrow.
