After brekky we caught the bus/train combo into the city. The weather was lovely. We had a walk around the shops and bought some things that we need for our upcoming adventures in New Zealand. We had some lunch in Forrest Chase and people watched and then we went for a mooch down to Barrack Street Jetty and the Swan River. There is a lot of building work going on by the river at the moment as they construct the new waterside development that is going to bring the river into the city. It'll be great to come back to Perth in a few years and see it completed. We strolled by the river and had fun messing about on the metal swans. The black swans were nowhere to be seen today which is just as well as they can be ferocious b*****s. Before we knew it rush hour was upon us and we caught the train/bus combo back to the caravan park.
