14th August We all continued with the never ending job of trying to rid our cars and campers of the red dust that we had collected along the way. We woke up to the sound of screeching lorikeets drumming in our ears and the hum of the generator which didn't turn off during the night. Headed off this morning towards Undara to check out the Lava Tubes that we had heard so much about. Got there about 9.30 and the tours were all booked out until 1.30pm which was a bit disappointing so we had a free cuppa and got back on the road and set the navigators to Cairns and then onto Ellis Beach where Colin and Wendy are camping.
