Crew Frivolous
We went for a drive this morning across to Mutee Head. It is a very pretty beach and would be lovely to camp there even though there were no facilities at all there.
We drove on a bit further towards the point where the Jardine River meets the ocean so we could go fishing. The guys let their tyres down and played in the sand along the tracks. Joe was a bit more adventurous and went down on the beach and got stuck!! Joe and Colin said that they were preparing themselves for when we get to Fraser Island and wanted to test out the Maxx Tracks...... ha ha
Those that were going to fish got themselves ready and as the tide was a long way out we had to walk quite a way. On the way we could see where a croc had been on the sand in a couple of places and it was enough for us girls to go back and sit in the shade at the cars.
The guys continued on and fished for quite a while. Joe and Colin both landed good sized Trevally's.
On the way back we stopped off and looked at an old Radar Installation and a couple of WWII plane crash sites. It was quite interesting but a bit eerie too.
Joe and Colin cleaned and prepared the fish when we got back and Ang with the help of Jen Dyke and Wendy cooked it and it was eaten and enjoyed by all.
