19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd July
Marty & Jen arrived about 8.30pm Friday night. It was very exciting all being here.
Our Cape York Trip IS ON!!!!!
Woke up to a beautiful day on Saturday. We did a bit of shopping and the guys started on the repairs that they needed to do. We all spent a bit of time just sitting on the beach looking out at the horizon. It was nice to just sit back and unwind after the km's we had all travelled.
Sunday was pretty much the same as Saturday, again with beautiful weather. Some of us lazed and swam at the beach and some of us strolled up to the local bar and grill which had live music for a couple of cold ones.
The camp ground we are staying at is very nice but we have been overrun by Europeans on holidays. We have renamed the camp ground 'Euroville'
Monday was spent repacking, refueling, etc. Our stay at Ellis Beach is coming to an end.
We leave tomorrow...............
We have had a great couple of days here. Have laughed so much, told numerous stories and had a great time but we are all anxious to go.

rilla & daz Glad to hear that you have all met up safely and are relaxing in paradise. It wouldn't be an adventure to remember without a few little disasters (cracked windscreen, lost solar panel). Jenny, I hope there hasn't been TOO much road kill. Continue to have an exciting time and when you have your next beer, spare a thought for us all back down here. (nice thoughts)
