Today was a rather uneventful day and not a lot to write about. We left Mataranka in the morning and travelled to Roper Bar where we stopped and topped up on cups of tea. Then it was off to Munbililla or commonly known as Tomato Island. This was a beautiful camping ground with large open space and you could park wherever you wanted. Joe was worried about fuel so Colin and Joe decided to drive back to Roper Bar to get more fuel, better to be safe than sorry. This was about a forty kilometre drive back to the service station so it took them awhile. Meanwhile the girls stayed back at camp and had chats to the other people in the campsite. When the boys got back we just relaxed. Happy hour in the campground was at 5pm but we managed to avoid it thank goodness. Joe made a beautiful fire and it was a quiet night enjoying the warmth.
