Crew Frivolous
We went our separate ways this morning as Col and Wen were heading down to Gympie to catch up with some friends. Joe and I made one more stop at BCF and Big W for just a few more fishing bits and pieces then drove down through Maryborough and onto Tin Can Bay. We continued on down to Rainbow Beach and went out to Inskip Point to have a look where the barge left for Fraser Island.
The entry is very soft sand and we saw a couple of cars get bogged in the short time that we where there. We went back up to the main street to wait for Col and Wen and also for Es and Joe who were coming up to join us on our adventure to Fraser Island.
Col and Wen got into town about 4.45pm and Es & Joe were still a while away so we headed back out to Inskip Point and set up camp. Joe wanted to have one more practice with his Maxx Tracks and drove through the softest part of the track and got bogged!! Quickly lowered his tyres and drove out in record time. I hung my HOLDEN blanket out on the fence so it would be easier for the Ford fans to find us ha ha. They arrived about 7pm and after a few hugs we sat around and had few drinks and enjoyed a long awaited catch up.
