A bit of a sleep in this morning leaving Goondawindi at 20 past 8. It was another long day. But not as long as the first 2.
We decided that there are a lot of rude folk out there who just don't like to wave. And there was no time for stopping for photo snaps or souvenirs. Martin was on a mission.
We arrived in Emerald around 5:30pm and had full intentions of heading to Charters Towers but after talking to the nice man in the caravan park we decided against it. His advice was not to tackle it in the evening....way to dry at the moment and there was lots and lots of roos.
