Today was already planned. We were going to spend the day laying on the beach and were so looking forward to it. There are a couple of resident peacocks in the park and I was fortunate to hand feed one this morning.

We were all loaded up and set for the morning. We wandered down to the beautiful Gray's Bay with our snorkels, flippers and the fishing gear too. This is a beautiful bay which was sheltered from the strong winds. We settled in for the morning. Wen and I went in straight away for a dip while Joe and Col got their fishing rods ready.

We wandered back to camp at lunchtime and went straight back down the beach once we had eaten. Joe went in snorkelling for a bit. After a couple of hours Wendy & I decided to go back to the park to the pool as it was just too hot on the beach (poor us, ha ha). Joe and Col stayed at the beach fishing with a couple of bites but no success. Col had a swim when he went in after his lure which came adrift when he cast

Col, Joe and I went for a walk up the Horseshoe Bay Lookout just before dark. We had a great view from up there. It was a nice way to finish our lazy day in the sun
