Left Bowen this morning and after stopping off at the Big Mango for some typical tourist pics we made our way south to Airlie Beach. After driving through town we booked ourselves into the Flametree Tourist Village for a couple of nights.
We drove back into town and had a wander around. Stopped at the beautiful Airlie Lagoons and took some pics and headed over to the Whitsunday Sailing Club overlooking Airlie Bay and had a delicious lunch. Drove to the Abel Point Marina and then out to Shute Harbour and the Lion's Lookout. The view from there is just spectacular. We sat there for a while and enjoyed the view before heading back to camp.
