After posting some things back home we walked around to York Castle Museum which cost us £5.95 each to get in. It was a collection of recreations of York from different periods and displays on the evolution of household appliances. Was more interesting than it sounds.

Had a coffee and donuts before starting our walk along the City Walls at Bootham Bar, finishing at Monks Bar. Walk had good views of York Minster.

Returned to B&B for a rest then visited York City Football Club at Bootham Crescent before returning to B&B for a rest and some cricket on the TV.

Went to dinner at 5.30pm. Ate at The Punch Bowl which had good food and large meals for a good price.
