After a good breakfast at 8am we walked to the nearby post office and mailed our package back to Australia.
Caught the bus back into the city and went to internet cafe again to email again and to find some contact information for British Airways to confirm our flight out to Ireland in two days time. Couldn't find a contact number!
Walked up to tourist information again to find out where the Bath City soccer ground was in case we had time to see the game that was on that afternoon, British Airways contact number and about diversions on the A36 out of Bath for our trip to Heathrow the next day. Found out where the ground was and also what bus to catch and were given a map for the A36 diversions and the location of the British Airways office in Bath.
Walked to British Airways office and it was not there! Decided to continue up towards the Royal Crescent
and the Circus. We stumbled upon a travel agency and got the British Airways number from them then continued on to Royal Crescent via the Circus. Very impressive houses and gardens.
Walked back into city centre for a Starbucks coffee which we drank in the mall listening to the ravings of a junkie selling copies of 'The Big Issue'!
We called British Airways and found out there was no need to confirm our flights! Had a look in a few shops before heading off for lunch. No seats anywhere in KFC or McDonalds so we ended up at Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant and had a £5 lunch each which was not bad.
Caught the bus back to B&B for some rest and TV. Went to dinner at 5.30pm again at
Bear Hotel then back to B&B for the night.
