Little Kirsty Ventures to Pastures New
Feeling a bit blugh today. Just spend the past 3 days chillin in the room, trying to get my sore muscles back to working order. They're feeling a lot better but still agony walking up and down stairs! Finally started my scrap book, which I'm very pleased about- was worried I'd never get round to it.
On the way up to the ICT room tonight, I could hear major meowing and couldn't make out if it was actually kittens or baby birds tweeting. I then heard another noise coming from under the stairs. I was def sure it was the noise of a trapped kitten, so I started clearing away the mounds of rubbish and absolutely crapped myself. The mother cat just pounced out, narrowly missing my face and scatted away. So at least the little babies had a mum. I then followed the initial noise, up the stairs and into a classroom. I knew there was a birds nest nearby, and it could have been tweeting, but the noise led me to the back of a small cupboard, where I found 4 newborn kittens, with gooey eyes that had just been opened, and no mum. I didn't know what to do with them- I still don't! I'm so worried the teacher will find them tomorrow and throw them away. I'm just praying the mum comes back and takes them somewhere safe. They were crying their little lungs out cause I could hear them all the way down the corridor meowing and they were on the 2nd floor. And they were so soo teeny.
Anyway. Aman and I have been discussing plans for the following 2 weeks before the hols. Turns out we don't have any more classes as of this coming Tuesday, so we're tempted to take off somewhere. However, Rosie's coming out on Tuesday night, until the following Monday, so I said I'd join Aman in an adventure after Rosie leaves. So after some deliberation, and a phone call to Georgie, who's gona join us- we're contemplating going to the Philippines on really cheap flights Georgie found. Her and Aman would leave next Thursday and I'd join them next Sunday for a few days. So that we would all be back in time to get our flights to various places for our May hols.
May sound very confusing but it makes sense to me!
Tomorrow I've got my last lesson with 1A and 3A, which is a bit sad cause 3A are my fave class. Think I'm just gona have a casual chatting sesh, a few games and give them a few sweets if I can find some. In my final week at DPM, I'm taking all 6 classes at once for the closing week of GAP, so I'll have time then to arrange a proper "party" or maybe even a "ceilidh" for them all.
Tomorrow afternoon, I'm meeting Georgie at KK airport to fly to Tawau, cause we're diving Sipidan this weekend. So absolutely cannot wait- one of the best dive sights in the world I'll have you know. I may not have mentioned it much until now cause we're not actually aloud to go- so says GAP (cause there's Filipino pirates, and a kidnapping occurred 2 years ago). But since I leave tomorrow, there's not much stopping me now! :-D. We're gona try to hire a photographer to dive with us, so you can see us in our scuba gear! We'll be diving all of Friday and Saturday, then catch the 6hr bus ride back to KK on Sunday morning. Tis very exciting!
Joyce, Aubry and Meeza just came to join Aman and I in the ICT room. I took them to see the kittens and they said that if the mother doesn't come back, we can take them to the asrama and try to find them a foster mum. But I don't think struggle muffins mum has enough milk to feed 7 kittens. Such a dilemma.
