Received some real "Tear-jerker" mail today- in a good way though. Got the sweetest card from Bella, one of my Gran's friends who I have heard Gran speaking of but not had the chance to meet (I don't think). So I'd like to give a biiig THANKYOU, Bella, for you're card- really made me feel so so good this morning and I love the thought that you're all following my travels so attentively. Also received a nice long letter from mammy, which I always love. Saw a hyuooge box and thought "woo hoo!" but of course it was for Aman. Her boyfriend sent her lotsa goodies for Valentine's Day- including 1 biig box AND a medium box of Thornton's choccies- might slyly have to nab a few. Made me think that I really need to get round to sending some more hand written letters home, so will hopefully get round to doing so this week since I don't have any more classes- woo! Approached Johnston today about taking a few days off to go to Sarawak with Mum and Gran. He was cool about it but unfortunately it's the "Boss" as he calls the Headmistress that has to give me permission and as I have heard numerous times by numerous people- she is a bit of a stick in the mud. So I've gota see her tomorrow personally and Johnston said he honestly doesn't know if she'll give me the time off. A little dubious as to how the meeting will go since I know for a fact that she has made both Artina and other teacher's cry when it comes to asking her for a favour. Johnston offered to accompany me to see her- not sure if that's a good or bad sign. So fingers crossed for tomorrow!! Once I find out what's happening with the Sarawak trip I gota organize accommodation for mum and gran- tis all stressing me out a bit cos I need to book it soon, along with flights- ahh. Classes went alright today, just repeated the treasure hunt, since this week I had new classes. Let Form 5A have a look at my pics and as soon as they turned to Darren there were "Woooow"s as usual. One of the girls fancies the pants off Joe- yeey. Joe I got her email add for you :-P. Aman and I stayed up gossiping loads last night since we had officially reached "1/3" of the way through our GAP placement. Seems a bit crazy that we're there already, yet it feels like I've been away forever. We talked about our fave bits so far, our plans for the rest of the time, loadsa stuff, Was a nice long natter. Tis weird looking back on some of the random stuff I've done so far and I know there's gona be so much more random stuff still to come. Just remember thinking when I first arrived that I just wanted to survive the first 2 months and I knew it would start getting better and I'm so glad to say that it has. We got little sleep last night cos of the overwhelming heat. I ended up taking a cold shower in the middle of the night cause of it. Gona go get tea now then have a lil munch on those choccies- yeey!!
