Little Kirsty Ventures to Pastures New
O.K- apologies for the overload of depressive comments yesterday. As Mum and Darren said (who of course are always right), I've just gota recoup this weekend and start a fresh on Monday. I'll have a new set of classes as well so I can try even harder to do even more fun stuff (even though I thought the stuff I organized was pretty darn good- especially since I followed the kids own ideas). Def gona try to get a new venue for my first class and will be taking serious action if our shower's not fixed.
Gota fab sleep last night cos I deliberately hit the hay early in preparation for making today better but my class this morning was cancelled due to extra curricular stuff going on in the school.
Currently, I am trying to upload my pictures from my new camera onto this computer cos I know there have been a lack of photos since Hong Kong.
Georgie really cheered me up last night with a banterous phone call. We're going pant shopping today (much confusion was made due to the fact that we have different meanings for "pants") and we intend to have a hard core night out on Saturday for the first time. We would go out tonight but we can't afford to be ill for diving so we're thinking if we go out on Saturday- it might be quite amusing to see who lasts longest on the rapids without hurling on Sunday morning.
Aman and I looked through the Lonely Planet for things to do on the East Coast and it aall looks ab fab! I've been in contact with fellow Scott Kirsty and she's given me the go ahead for booking flights to Vietnam and Laos- so that's cool to get that sorted.
Aman and I are heading to KK today to book our flights and meet aall of the fellow Sabah Gappers at the North Borneo Cabin- should be a banterous weekend. I'm hoping Claire (the nurse) will still be hanging around but she mentioned going to Brunei so she may have left already.
At dinner last night in the Asrama, a kitten/cat (cat toddler) was scrounging food. But it wasn't as mangy as the other cats and it really wouldn't go away no matter how much I threatened to kick it. It was really cute but I was so worried it'd give me rabies. It was trying to jump up and the kids must have thought I had a phobia of cats cos I was trying to shoo it away big time. If that'd been in the UK I would've loved to pick it up and give it a wee pat but I had no idea how diseased this one was so I felt a bit mean to reject it and not give it any food.
Off to check if the washing machine has worked yet as it didn't seem to want to work this morning. Cheerio!
