Crew Frivolous
We packed up this morning and left Ellis Beach. We all headed off in different directions with the plan being to meet at Mission Beach at the end of the day.
Colin and Wendy headed straight down to Mission Beach and booked us all in at the Dunk Island View Caravan Park. They had a look around the area in the arvo and a drink at the local bar and grill.
Marcus and Ang headed of to Innisfail to Paronella Park stopping at Babinda Boulders along the way. They thoroughly enjoyed Paronella Park and said they would have loved to spend more time there.
Joe and I backtracked up to Port Douglas as I wanted to visit the shop where I got my scorpion necklace 4 years ago. We then headed to Babinda to see the Boulders. We had a picnic lunch and then wandered around taking photos. Was well worth a look. After that we continued along to Josephine Falls. They are quite pretty and the water looked so inviting. There were quite a few people swimming and sliding down the rocks. Had a quick look at the Golden Hole which is a very pretty park with a wide river running nearby then headed down to Mission Beach (Wongaling Beach) to meet up with our 82cape buddies.
Wendy, Joe and Colin baked some of the fish in the oven for their dinner. The camp kitchen had a tv and we were a bit excited about watching an afl game for the first time since we left Victoria.
