5th August
It was time to pack up and head to our next destination at Punsand Bay. After catching up on our domestic duties and with the writing our blogs we went into Bamaga to fill up with supplies. We had to wait until 12.00 for the bottle shop to open.
We made a slight detour and went for a look at the Jackey Jackey Airport just out of Bamaga.
On the road to Punsand Bay there was the croc tent. A shop in the middle of nowhere full of souvenirs which we all had fun in buying up on presents for the kids and tee shirts for everyone.
We then got to Punsand Bay where we set up camp. We just had a relaxing night watching the sunset and sitting by the campfire.
6th August
The next day we decided to have a relaxing day at camp. Colin got up for a run on the beach and everyone else went for a lovely walk. The girls went for a swim at the pool while the boys went fishing on the beach. Marcus was the only one who caught a fish, a trevally, we were all happy for him. After a swim in the pool the girls went out for a drink at the bar, lots of laughs.
