We took a couple of touristy pics on the way out of town this morning and then headed for Barcaldine. Stopped there to have a look at the 'Tree of Knowledge' I wanted to get me one of them until I realised that the one there had died a couple of years ago......
We then travelled on to Longreach to where Marcus and Ang were staying. We arrived there just in time for morning tea. Ang & I were very excited to see each other ha ha.
We headed over to the Qantas Founders Museum for a couple of hours and had a good look around. After that we wandered over to the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre. We rushed through there cos we got there not far away from closing time. Could of spent all day there reading all the different things on display. There is also a Royal Flying Doctor Info Centre there and it had both Joe and I thinking of you Jwlz :-D.
After that we walked backed to the caravan park to have a nice cold beer/wine. It was a very mild night and we chatted away whilst having a drink or 3.
