Pretty good day.
Ellie, Dawn and I went to the British Library. It was really cool. I saw copies of the Magna Carta, a Gutenberg Bible, Beowulf, Alice's Adventures Underground, Shakespeare works, Da Vinci's journals, Handel's Messiah and a bunch of lyrics from the Beatles (on envelopes, birthday cards etc.). It was really great but the dim lighting made it difficult to appreciate all the detail on the works - especially the religious pieces.
After the library we made our way to Kings Cross. Our objective was to find Platform 9 3/4. We failed. We're just ignorant muggles. I did research when we got back and found out where it is, approximately, so when we go to Scotland we'll find it before we get on the train.
We took Dawn to Vapiano. Now that we've all been there we are going to try new places from now on, not that we will have much opportunity to because most of our remaining weekends are going to be spent outside of London.
Then we went to Leicester Square for the evening. We went to a club for a while then once it got too crowded we went outside where there was a carnival thing going on.
Then we made our way back and I went to sleep way too late. Overall it was a good but long day.

Raymond Don't they have any new book?
mom The college we went to see, Becker College, was founded in 1774 by Samuel Adams and John Hancock and it is in Leicester, Ma. It is pronounced "Lester" there, how is it pronounced in the UK?
