So it's been quite awhile since my last post. Much has happened since then so let's go back to Texas. We finished up our time in Freeport pretty well. We inventoried, packed-up and moved an entire classroom building - clearly the highlight of the project. So Freeport is a pretty small town. Only a couple storefronts are occupied and we probably see a total of 10 people out and about each day. Since my last post we've gone to a local football game, a carnival, the beach, a super feast and a gala. Our work at the boys and girls club is pretty cool. So last week was fun. We played a lot of games and stuff throughout the week. Plus it snowed - huge welcome addition to the landscape. It began snowing while we were inside watching a movie. Once it was done a few of us went outside for a late night snowball fight and some makeshift sledding. The next day we had another snowball fight - this time with the entire fire unit. That night a bunch of us (about 20 people) went to the Nuggets vs. Clippers game downtown...

So much information has been packed into our heads since we started here. Luckily we've created our own group of friends so that made the endless meetings more bearable.
