Another good day today. Ran to/in Regents Park again with Ellie. We found a new area with sculpted gardens and fountains. It was quite lovely.
Afterwards we went to ULU (university of London union) where they gave us free food and we were able to buy our class books. I found out later on that the three books for my architecture class are actually already in our flat (probably left by previous students) so I am going to return them this weekend. I also, being the dufus that I am, bought another book for a class which I am not enrolled in. I am taking 'Contemporary Art in Britain' and I bought the book for 'British Art in London'. Luckily my roommate Francis is in the class I bought the book for, so she is just going to buy it from me and I will buy the correct books when I go return the others.
We then did some grocery shopping so I stocked up with some staples. We are going to ikea this weekend to get household things for our flat. It will be a fun experience as always.
We went to Tate Britain tonight for late entry. I have uploaded a few pictures here, although the quality is not fabulous because they were taken with my iPhone. There was a lot of great stuff but we didn't have enough time and were very tired.
On our way back to the flats the tube line we were on got shut down because of an "incident" in Victoria station. So we had to figure out how to get a bus back to Oxford Circus (which is where we had originally entered the underground). It was a little confusing and we eventually figured it out. We sat on the upper deck (no, not an open upper deck - those are only for tours) which had some great views as we tooled by Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. So beautiful at night.
Another long but great day. Hitting the hay.
