Pretty good day.

I shut off my alarm and slept late but I still had plenty of time before class so it was fine. I went to NYU to print out my paper. It was a really nice day out. I was walking around in a sleeveless shirt. It was a nice change.

Class today was a field trip. About half of it was in and around Regent's Park so it was pretty familiar to me. Then we took a bus to Hyde Park corner to look at Wellington Arch and go in Apsley House. This is the house of the Duke of Wellington. It was pretty cool and elaborate. There were a lot of paintings and ornate tableware. We ended early because one of the rooms was closed for renovation. So Chao and I got ice cream and walked through Hyde Park a little bit before catching a bus back to the flat.

Then I caught up on some tv, bought some groceries and made bruschetta.

Ellie, Dawn and I went to Soho to a pseudo diner to get some snacks and milkshakes. It was pretty good but as is the English way, the service was not great so we were there for 2 hours for milkshakes, fries and pancakes.

Sleepy time for Ali. Get to do some major sleeping in tomorrow.
