Long day today.

Stacy and I got up and made our way to Portobello Market. We took a different, and apparently more direct, tube line to get there than last time. It was so crowded that the way we went the first time was much better. We walked around and looked at some stuff, only buying crepes and a necklace.

Then we made our way to Harrod's for tea. Since we had a lot of time on our hands we decided to walk there instead of taking the tube. Problem with this was our map ended precisely where we were. So based on the tube map, some maps at bus stops and the location of the sun (yes I'm serious) we made our way in the direction we thought was correct. We actually did head in the right direction but we were still worried being off the map. Eventually we made it back on and were even able to walk through Hyde Park for the last leg of the journey.

After a two hour jaunt around the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea we finally made it to Harrod's. We briefly looked around then made our way to the Terrace Cafe. Apparently you need a reservation on Saturdays. So we were directed to the Harrod's Cafe a couple floors lower which supposedly had the same tea options but upon studying the map it was found that it did not. So we decided we would wait and do tea in December when Stacy comes back. We made our way to the food halls to find something to eat. The food halls are basically specialty markets/ take out places/ restaurants. It was all so fabulous and overwhelming we decides to get these delicious pesto cheese pretzels from the bakery. After that we sat down at the gelato bar. This was fantastic. All of the sundaes are expensive but huge. We got one to share and it was almost too much. I don't understand how other people were finishing them all by themselves. Overall it was great and delicious.

Then we went back to the flat where we attempted to decide where we are going in december. We managed to reduce a list of about 14 places down to 7 but we still haven't settled on a place. We will have made a decision before Stacy leaves tomorrow.

Then Ellie, Stacy and I went to Vapiano for dinner. Stacy really enjoyed it; I'm glad we took her there. I got pizza and ate it with my hands. None of this fork and knife crap. We then went to the grocery store and bought some drinks for back at the flat. Then we just hung out for the rest of the night.

Now even though I can sleep in tomorrow I really need some sleep.
