Tuesday. Woke at 0500 as the 20 people sleeping on mattresses in the dining room decided to all get up and make one hell of a row. As we were all served lentil soup last night I can imagine the aroma and noise would have been hard to bear for any longer than necessary. Monday 14th left Hontanas at 0700 trying to get to another small village Boadilla del Camino 29km away. We felt ok after the walk yesterday and got to Castrojerez hoping for breakfast but nowhere open as it was another seemingly deserted little town. Sunday 13th. Left at 0700 and wanted to try and get to Honitas a village 32km away which is furthest we have ever walked in a day. Day 15. Late night and lie in to 0900 was a welcome change and spent rest of the day walking around Burgos. The cathedral is stunning and huge but the pics don't do it justice with an iPhone.
