Camino Charity Walk
Left Viana and spent all day walking through Logrono a big city which was very hard on the feet. We walked 23km today on tarmac virtually all the way and feet were on fire so we dunked them in a lake - heaven see pic. I think it was the hardest day yet and we were relieved to get to Naverette - yet another lovely medieval town.
Feeling knackered we phoned Veronica who does the miracle massages to revive yours truly.
We are now in great little restuarant with fellow pilgrims having great fun and getting over the exertions of the day.
Not sure if the picture does it justice but for a town of 1500 people you see the gold interior of the huge church - its really unbelievable.

laurieandsally Barb you should get your man to ditch the Glass's Guide for a while and get over here - you would love it. Xx
Gabrielle Bliss Hello both. Wow - what an amazing church — quite extraordinary. We did a five mile walk yesterday and I kept thinking of you and wondering how you are managing to do so many miles each day - am so impressed. Glad to hear that you are having fun and seeing great places along the way, it must make all the difference to you. Mike wants to know if your massage had a happy ending Lol?!
laurieandsally Hi Gabrielle lovely to hear from you glad are still following the blog. I think the excitement of seeing new places every day keeps you going. Tell Mike Laurie's massage did not end the way he would have liked as I was there to spoil his fun! Love Sal xx
